Breaking: Barnes Lands 6’10 200lb C From Ontario

Tennessee Coach Rick Barnes landed a committ today from Canada. Kyle Alexander, a 6’10 200lb C/PF, played for Orangeville Prep school out of Mono, Ontario, Canada. Alexander is a 3 star center/power forward prospect and ranked number 308 overall and the number 30 center in the 24/7 Sports composite from the 2015 class. Alexander chose the Vols over the Mountain West New Mexico Lobos. With the addition of Alexander, it gives Tennessee its 5th known commitment for the 2015 class, but also its 3rd commitment in 10 days. Barnes picked up another Canadian player in Ray Kasongo, a 6’9 235lb PF from Toronto a few days ago. With some tall boys on their roster now, one could wonder if Tennessee could be a contender this year to win the SEC Tournament next year?
