That’s right; former Notre Dame QB Everett Golson has decided to transfer to FSU to replace Jameis Winston. It’s rather ironic, too. Golson lost to Florida State last year in a very controversial finish. Golson visited several schools before deciding to transfer to Florida State; Golson visited South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and other schools before finally making a decision. Golson graduated from Notre Dame over the weekend and will be able to eligible to play immediately. During his stint for Notre Dame, Golson threw for 5,850 yards, 41 TD’s, and 20 INT’s, and has 208 rushes for 581 yards and 14 TD’s. Golson lead the Fighting Irish to the 2013 BCS title game where he lost big time (42-14) to the Alabama Crimson Tide. In the 2013 season, Golson sat out due to academic dishonesty, but did earn his way back on to the team; he ultimately split duties with Junior QB Malik Zaire in the Music City Bowl vs LSU.
