Forbes Releases List of 50 Most Valuable Sports Franchises

Today Forbes released its annual 50 Most Valuable Franchises list, and unsurprisingly 20 of 32 NFL teams made the list (8 of which were in the top 20). Here is the list of NFL teams who made the list according to 24/7 Sports:

T9) Washington Redskins: $2.4 Billion
T12) New York Giants: $2.1 Billion
16) Houston Texans: $1.85 Billion
T17) New York Jets: $1.8 Billion
19) Philadelphia Eagles: $1.75 Billion
T20) Chicago Bears: $1.7 Billion
T22) San Francisco 49ers: $1.6 Billion
T24) Baltimore Ravens: $1.5 Billion
26) Denver Broncos: $1.45 Billion
T27) Indianapolis Colts: $1.4 Billion
T29) Green Bay Packers: $1.38 Billion
T32) Pittsburgh Steelers: $1.35 Billion
35) Seattle Seahawks: $1.33 Billion

What is probably the most surprising rank? Number 1 on the list was Real Madrid worth $3.26 billion. The NY Yanks were tied for second with Dallas as being worth $3.2 billion.
