Unpatriotic Kneel Down/Fist Up

Normally, I try to keep my blogs biased free, but this next article is like something you’d find in the Opinion section of a newspaper. Again, this is my opinion, and you don’t necessarily have to agree with it, though I’m sure it’s going to make some people mad. On to the juicy stuff now. Collin Kaepernick, in my opinion, has acted really low as of late. Yeah, you have a right to protest, but during the National Anthem? That’s pure outrageous and plain disrespectful to everyone who has ever fought to defend our freedom and country. Now not only Kaepernick is protesting during the National Anthem, but players from other NFL teams (Rams, Dolphins, and  Broncos) are showing protest as well…Niner’s DB Eric Reid and Broncos’ LB Brandon Marshall, and Dolphins’ RB Arian Foster are just to name a few. Now, some players aren’t just kneeling, but putting their fists in the air instead of their hand over their heart.  In my other opinion, if these players don’t like standing during the Anthem, then they can move to Canada and play for the CFL. Or let’s get these players together and let former and current military veterans beat the crap out of them for showing so much disrespect to not only them but the country we live in, and which they fought for. From now on, these players should just shut their mouths and put their hands over their hearts, and get along with life. I also have 2 shoutouts; my first shoutout is to former Alabama DL Quinton Dial. Dial helped military members hold the flag during last night’s National Anthem…while Eric Reid and Kaepernick kneeled. I also give a shout out to everyone of the Dallas Cowboys sideline the other night as none of their players showed any signs of protest. In conclusion, yeah, you might have a first amendment right to protest; however, it should not be done during an important moment such as the National Anthem. Thank you for the read, and remember this is my opinion only; you may agree to disagree. I, however, will always stand by my opinion.
